Default LF active TA players to help.

I step into TA everyday, but am sometimes missing the vital factor, good players. I've been stuck on 8 gladiator points for 3 weeks. My gameplay is imo very good, it's the sort of teams in TA that arnt. I usually get knocked out of TA at round 8 or 9, which really frustrates me. I usually play boon prot, but can reroll to many different roles.
Hook me up in game: Corrupted Dreams

TBH, the best way to get good at TA is to simply play it. When I pug in TA (which at this point is fairly rare, as it should be) every once in awhile you'll meet people that are really good. Be personable, talk to them, compliment them in PM's, and add them to your friends list. Eventually you'll have a solid base of people that you can call on to make groups, and you'll hopefully have people calling on you.

No self-respecting PvP player will contact you just because you say you're "very good". You have to prove yourself first, and contacts will come. It's the same with PvE, I had(have) a really solid base of people that I used to farm UW with, almost all of which I found through random PuGs. Do the work, grind it out, and you'll meet people.

You say you play monk, which is interesting, because the best way to get better as a monk is to play with bad teams. In a very good and well-organized team the monk has to do very little healing. The monks job ends up being very easy. It's when you're in a bad group that you have to do a lot of work, and that makes you a better monk.

Grind it out, and have fun good luck.

This is why I spend at least 2-3 hours a day in Random Arena monking

It's very good practise, and you do come across pretty much every possible skill in the game, so there's enough variation (tbh, I find more variation in RA than I do in HA/GvG. Of course there's still the occasional touch ranger, wammo, etc. but at least it's not a full team using the same "gimmick").

I love playing boon prot in RA and getting 10 flawless wins (I'm at 3 gladiator points at the moment ) then getting to TA and still managing to own a few less talented groups.

There are a lot of not so good players in TA but there are also quite a few decent players. I also play monk and if a team is serious about winning, I ask them how they intend to win before joining them.

I'll defo hook up with you though UBS, if ya want.

Send me a PM.

I can play anything you like, but if you want easy glad points in TA, do single smite, works wonders against 95% teams.

1 boon prot.
1 smiter mo/e windborne speed.
1 thumper, spam Irresistible blow, because HA monks love guardian.
1 melee shutdown, curses or illusion based.
